SMS Terms & Conditions

Security
- Your email address and password are used to access your account settings. Do not share your password with anyone.
- An additional Sender Key will be issued to you. This can be given to third parties to allow them to send messages on your behalf. Your email address and sender key are the only things needed to send messages.
- The signup process will involve validating your email address and mobile phone number. First an email will be sent to you with a link that must be clicked to validate the account. This will trigger the Sender Key being sent to you by SMS to your mobile phone. This is the only way you will be able to get the Sender Key which is needed to send messages.
Privacy
- We will not share any of your details with anyone.
- Details of the messages sent will be kept in our database for a maximum of 60 days in case of billing queries.
Spam
- Your "Message Sender" value must be either a valid SMS phone number owned by yourself or your company, or a company or brand name that you have the right to use.
- Geeky Monkey do not send out any advertisements via SMS or email.
- Using this service to send out spam messages will not be tolerated. Your account will be suspended immediately.
Payment
- No setup charge.
- No minimum monthly charge
- Messages are charged by units. A unit is a message with up to 160 characters. A message up to 320 characters will be charged as 2 units, and a message up to 480 characters will be charged at 3 units (this is the maximum).
- Standard unit costs are €.09 in the EU. Email us for prices ouside the EU.
- Lower unit costs will be awarded to customers using a high monthly message volume.
- You can pre-set a budget for the maximum value of messages to be sent out during the month. When this limit is being reached - we will contact you via email or SMS. If the limit is reached - messages will fail to be processed until the beginning of the next month, or the limit is adjusted by you.
- Invoices will be emailed out at the beginning of each month for messages sent in the previous month.
- You have 30 days to pay the invoice, or else your service will be suspended.
